Who We Are

Our
Mission & Values

Our Mission Statement: We exist to provide the best possible day care to enable those with dementia to live well and as independently as possible whilst providing the much needed respite for carers. In addition we will provide support, understanding, and guidance to their carer and family.

Living well with dementia is possible and with the provision of services such as day care and support, individuals are able to live at home within their communities for as long as they desire. Carers have the benefit of regular respite from their relative, thus improving the quality of their relationships at home and their own psychological well-being. Our approach to providing our service is to seek, listen and act upon the needs and experiences of people affected by dementia. We will do this by being:
  • Flexible in our approach to the changing needs in the care we are providing, catering for all types and stages of dementia
  • Innovative in our thinking to face challenges and methods of collecting and acting upon feedback
  • Respectful of each other, listening to people with dementia, carers, staff, volunteers and professionals to provide holistic care
  • Supportive of each other, working as a team to act on feedback and provide the best possible care and support for people with dementia and their carers
